When baby boomers first start online marketing it can be daunting and many are scared to even try, but those that persevere do very well and these could well be the reasons why.
1.
They have become more focused on their goals.
They realise what they want out of the rest of their life and know that if they do not stick to it they cannot just go off and try something else.
2.
They realise that to learn anything new takes time and are willing to research and train to get to a standard that is necessary for their online business.
3.
They have got to the stage in their life when they are able to sit down quietly and work on what they need to do.
Partly because their environment is less distracting, but also because they are able to focus more on the task in hand.
4.
Once they have got to the stage in their online marketing where they are making an income, they (hopefully) are less likely to spend the profit on frivolous activities.
They have made the mistakes in the past with their money, maybe trusting the wrong people or making bad investments and have learnt to be more careful where they spend.
For these reasons baby boomers make up a large part of the online marketing world and if one looks at the people searching for a serious business online you will find that their age range is more than often 46 plus.
This should be a consideration not only for online marketers advertising for prospects, but for baby boomers themselves who are looking for an alternative or additional source of income.
Sponsors should be actively targeting this age range and baby boomers should be seriously considering and focusing on online businesses as a viable alternative or supplement to their pensions.
