• The Motorola ROKR EM30 measures 4.53 inches tall, 2.09 inches wide and 0.42 inches thick at its thickest point. It weighs 3.53 oz. before optional accessories and upgrades. The phone is driven by an SCM-A11 processor and features 18.5 MB of RAM and 2 GB of internal storage space. An integrated Secure Digital memory card slot provides up to 8 GB of additional storage space. The phone uses a fixed internal antenna. A removable, rechargeable 970-mAh lithium-ion battery provides the ROKR EM30 with up to 300 hours of standby time.
  
  

Display and Camera

• The ROKR EM30 features a 2.2-inch QVGA TFT display screen with a native resolution of 320 by 240 pixels. The screen displays up to 262,000 colors. The ROKR EM30 also features an integrated 2.0-megapixel digital camera with a CMOS sensor. The camera has an 8x digital zoom, fixed focus and takes photos at a maximum resolution of 1600 by 1200 pixels. The camera also captures video. It does not have an integrated flash.
  
  

Cellular and Messaging

• The Motorola ROKR EM30 works on GSM networks at 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz. It sends messaging data using EDGE radio technology. Compatible messaging protocols include EMS 5.0, MMS and email. The phone also features Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP technology and full HTML web browsing via the Symphony 1.0 browser. Additional cellular and messaging features include text-to-speak functionality, voice-activated dialing and commands, speakerphone, picture ID, ring ID and caller grouping capability.
  
  

Additional Features

• The ROKR EM30 also features a music player compatible with MP3, MIDI, WMA, WAV, AAC, AAC Plus, Enhanced AAC Plus, Real Audio version 10 and AMR-NB audio file formats. Sound plays back either through the phone's integrated loudspeaker or through headphones plugged into the EM30's 3.5-mm audio output jack. The ROKR EM30 connects to a computer via a USB 2.0 cable. Additional features of the phone include a built-in FM radio, JAVA MIDP 2.0 software compatibility, A-GPS navigation and a suite of bundled applications including a calculator, alarm, calendar and a currency converter.
