• One option for TracFone customers is to buy and activate cards with designated amounts of minutes. Once the minutes expire, you must buy a new card to keep using your phone. As of late 2010, these cards are available for 250, 600 or 1,000 minutes.
  
  

Plans

• TracFone also offers renewable monthly calling plans. As of late 2010, you can get 50 minutes a month for $9.99, 125 minutes per month for $19.99 or 200 minutes per month for $29.99. To add multiple lines that share the minutes and get 40 extra minutes, the cost is $5.99 per line.
  
  

Phones

• With TracFone, you can get flip-style phones like the LG410G and LG420G, slider-style phones like the Samsung T301 and bar-style phones like the Motorola C139.
