Guide Review - Cyberlegs Portable Laptop Stand
CyberLegs is a different style of portable laptop stand and you can use it practically anywhere that you need. CyberLegs has easy height adjustment and includes its own carrying case.
At first glance it may appear that the CyberLegs aren't very sturdy but they are. The legs are strong and well constructed. I was able to attach the hook and loop fasteners of the arm assembly to my older mega heavy desktop replacement laptop and the CyberLegs supported it with no issues at all.
After you have set up your laptop the first time for use with the CyberLegs you can leave the arm assembly attached so that you can quickly have things up and running.
Just take the legs out of their carrying bag and your laptop from its laptop bag and twist together. The legs lock into place and the locking mechanism holds very well. It is quite simple to adjust the height to your needs. I don't recommend adjusting the height while your laptop is attached though. If you end up in a situation where there isn't quite enough room to have the legs of the CyberLegs fully extended, the arm assembly does have rubber protectors on the base so you can use your laptop on any smaller flat surface that may be available - the tray table on a plane for example and your laptop will not slip away on you. The rubber protectors also raise the laptop slightly so they also allow your laptop to breathe and air to circulate underneath.
The carrying case can also be attached to your laptop bag so that you can carry it hands-free or you can sling it over a shoulder.
It is important to note that you should not use CyberLegs inside a vehicle especially one that is moving. While it may be tempting to try this, the CyberLegs were not designed for that use and you risk damaging your laptop and perhaps causing an accident.
