How to Turn on Auto Recover in Microsoft Word 2007
- 1). Open Microsoft Word 2007.
- 2). Click the "Microsoft Office Button" in the top left corner of the Ribbon.
- 3). Click the "Word Options" button.
- 4). Click "Save" in the left column to reveal customization options in the panel on the right.
- 5). Click the box beside "Save AutoRecover Information Every xx Minutes," where "xx" equals how often you want AutoRecover to save. To choose an amount, click the up or down arrows.
- 6). Click the "Browse" button beside AutoRecover File Location to choose where Word saves your AutoRecover files, the click "OK."
