Grievances Against the Time Known As "6 AM"
This is my formal application to have the time known as "6 am" terminated from my day and possibly from the world.
The following is a list of grievances and arguments as to why I have come to this decision and intend to follow through with it.
As you can tell the arguments are many and easily out weigh any possible positive reasons for the times existence (most involving the fact that it's impossible for it not to exist).
Waking up at this time is one of the most horrible experiences a human being can experience.
Ones eyes are completely caked over.
It takes preparation and planning to simply open them without causing horrid pain.
At this time in the morning you are being awoken by an alarm clock.
This causing two problems.
The first being your dreamland is destroyed.
No longer can you battle the Frog Overlords of Xenon 6 or save the young princess from a fire breathing antelope.
The second being a horrid headache that could make even the strongest of people feel generally crappy.
This is also the time in the morning when the sun is located directly at my window and is shining on my head as soon as I wake.
This causes the pain from opening my eyes to be multiplied ten fold.
The only times I have ever been forced to wake at this time is when I have held a crappy job.
The first being at a bakery and the second being in retail.
Most of the people I have talked to about this have agreed that they have never held a "6 AM wake up" job that was enjoyable in any way.
I discovered quickly that because of the symptoms noted in the paragraph above I was unable to perform simple tasks at work, thus causing a dangerous atmosphere to work in.
I never once wished to actually be at work and therefore I think no one should have to be.
All other employees are feeling these same effects; this is almost certainly a cocktail of doom.
Consumers should not have to deal with employees who are in this state of mind.
This grievance is very small but is still very important to me.
The atmosphere at 6am when outside (say walking to your bakery job) is absolutely atrocious.
I don't use that word lightly.
The dew on the grass, the sun in just the right place, the annoying "morning people" walking by you at a clip.
This has to stop, quickly.
People will rise up with me and join in arms against this "time".
They will fight it in the courts, on the television and in there own homes.
We have sat by for far to long to let it take over our very lives.
The time known as "6 AM" must be stopped dead in its tracks.
It should be stricken from not only my day, but the days of everyone who has been forced to suffer.
The time has committed atrocities and the people deserve something better, make 7pm longer.
7pm is the time when the sun isn't totally down but the world is nice and cool.
It is a great time to crack open a beverage with friends and relax.
7pm should replace that horrid time known as "6 AM".
