There are some common reasons for why you always feel out of it.
Medical reasons aside, anxiety is a very common reason.
Bad diet or lack of sleep are more reasons, and too much caffeine or boost up drinks yet more.
So, if that 'spaced out' feeling is starting to become a problem, then here are 3 methods you can employ to help.
Cut out the caffeine Caffeine is a stimulant.
It causes the blood vessels to constrict and the heart to beat faster.
This is why a coffee or energy boost drink helps you to feel more awake.
But too much caffeine can easily have the effect of making you feel spaced out.
Try cutting out the caffeine, you'll probably notice a difference within 24 hours.
Take a few minutes time out If you find you are always feeling out of it when faced with a particular situation, then this is more than likely anxiety related.
Try to move to somewhere quiet for a few minutes, close your eyes and think about something positive.
Maybe try to visualize a place with which you associate peace and tranquillity.
In time, you will find this a powerful technique to adopt in any stressful situation.
Stretch those muscles.
Even if you are sat at your desk, it is possible to stretch and move your muscles and limbs.
Remaining stationary for long periods of time can make you very stiff and tired, and this in turn can make you feel out of it.
Shrug and roll your shoulders, turn your head from one side to another, rotate your ankles.
Anything which will stimulate your muscles and help to wake you up.
So, as long as you ensure that there is no medical reason as to why you always feel out of it, you will find that there are plenty of things you can do to help prevent it.
