When Friendship Turns Bitter
We all need friends.
It is part of our nature.
Since we are societal beings, we need a companion, we need to build camaraderie, we need people to cheer us up and we need somebody to share our joys and our pains.
And that is where friends come in.
They are the people whom we can count on at whatever costs and situations it may be.
They are there at those moments when your parents seems to be too busy to mind you.
They are the first to know when your unjust partner breaks up with you.
They are there to give you advice, to offer support and even just to listen.
What friends are for, as the saying goes.
But not all the time the friendship would turn to be that way.
At one point or another, the platonic relationship would encounter trials and problems which are all part of the ongoing battle to sustain the friendship that you have built.
Jealousy and envy comes.
How will you dealt it? When a friend have just gotten a new Louis Vuitton stuff, how will you react? For a true friend, she will be truly happy for you.
But for that "fake friends", she is going to spread the rumor that you have just been gifted by a DOM.
And it is a problem now how to tell the true from the plastic ones.
We are being fancied by their good treatment at us, that we tend to think that they are good friends without minding that they will be the ones to bring you destruction and a crumpled reputation.
Will we build the connection back when the friendship seems not working anymore? Is it necessary to apologize to them even if you know that in your whole life you have not done anything wrong against them? Or it is much better to move forward and forget that moment in your life when you have met them and cared for them? If the friendship has just been full only of fancy and non-genuine treatment, it is much better to cut it off.
If all that have been done was just for a "show" then that friendship would not work.
If it is bitter because one's life have been destroyed by these people then forget them.
Along the way, you will be able to find new sets of acquaintances, and you will be able to build connections, then you will be able to build your circle of friends again.
If the one that you have now is not working because of individual differences and personal motives and intentions, forget them.
They won't bring you any good and they will just hamper your personal growth.
