MLM People and Their 7 Heavenly Virtues
MLM people get a bad rap. I've known plenty in my day, and most just want a better life for themselves through helping others.
I've decided to right this wrong.
You've heard of the 7 deadly sins, of course. But did you know the ancients also wrote of 7 heavenly virtues?
As you read these, you may even think of some of your favorite MLM people and how they show these virtues.
1. Humility in MLM?
Absolutely! You can show your humility in MLM by offering it to anyone, regardless of their station - rich and poor both need a better way. You also show humility by honestly learning the right way to do the business.
2. Kindness
No, I'm not talking about the lost souls that you know really need the network marketing business. Tons of MLM people try that - it doesn't really work that well.
Kindness really shows up when you train those new distributors and help them get going. Stick with it, and you'll find more good people.
3. Abstinence
You can show abstinence by not talking about your work at home lifestyle in front of those poor guys who have to go to work every day for the rest of their lives!
4. Chastity
Okay, this may seem like a stretch - but here it is: the best MLM people stick with their opportunity until it pays off. It's easy to jump from one to another.
I know - it's fun to start with a new company, check out the new products, attend a few events. Then, you check your bank account, and nothing has changed, so you look for a new, better company.
Truth is many companies offer a stellar opportunity for freedom. The difference has to be you! You have to make the opportunity pay off.
So stay or at the very least, evaluate the opportunity more before you start. Be sure you like it. Don't be an opportunity hopper.
(Caveat: the company has to stay in business and be ethical - which applies to all MLM people everywhere.)
5. Patience - it's really not a Get rich Quick Scheme!
Have you heard of Ms. Stud? She's awesome. She has a little idea she loves to share.
Here it is, in my words: Do you really want to earn gangster money? Big money every month?
Then you have to stay with the program.
Here's the kicker: So what if it takes 2 years to make real money? Or 5? What if it takes you 10 years?
Will you current system free you from drudgery and low wages in 10 years?
Okay, so stay, and get to work on your opportunity. MLM people know this to be the best path.
6. Liberality
In the 7 deadly sins, this one is the opposite of greed. MLM people show liberality as they help their new distributors.
It's not about the money. Your new people need your time and attention. Later, you will give them your time as they need it to succeed.
7. Diligence
A good lesson for all - can you stick with a task even when you aren't succeeding? The best MLM people do.
Staying with your task, if you really have the desire to succeed, is diligence, the opposite of sloth.
