Peruse your newspaper to see if any furniture or baby supply stores are selling cribs at a discount. Thrift Stores

• Thrift stores and charity shops are an excellent way to find round cribs at a discount. However, it is a good idea to replace the mattress in the crib with a new one once you have procured your piece. Baby mattresses can be purchased at any baby store or any large multiproduct retailer (such as Target and Wal-Mart). You should also give your crib a thorough cleaning with a household cleaning product, usually one that contains bleach, so you can be sure to kill all the bacteria.
