Needless to say it was a busy week in 2012 for Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg. Monday, May 14th was Mark's birthday and Priscilla's graduation from medical school. Friday, May 18th Facebook went public with the much anticipated IPO. And on Saturday, May 19th, Mark and Priscilla were married in a surprise wedding.

Although it may not seem very romantic, many financial experts recommend that couples discuss having a prenuptial agreement when they talk about important issues prior to getting married.

Considering his wealth from Facebook and the challenges of an interracial marriage, we sure hope they had this talk.

Mark Elliot Zuckerberg: May 14, 1984 in White Plains, New York.

Priscilla Chan: Abt. 1985 in Braintree, Massachusetts.

When and Where Priscilla and Mark Met:

Mark and Priscilla first met at Harvard on November 7, 2003. They have been seeing one another "for more than nine years" according to Marcus Wohlsen of AP.

Wedding Date and Information:

Mark and Priscilla were married in on May 19, 2012 in the backyard of their Palo Alto, California home. Priscilla's wedding ring was designed by Mark and features a "very simple ruby." Around 100 guests attended the ceremony thinking it was a party to celebrate Priscilla's graduation from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. Dean Schabner of ABCNews.com reported "The couple had been planning the ceremony for four or five months, the guest said."

The wedding reception featured food served family style from Palo Alto Sol and Fuki Sushi. Kim-Mai Cutler of TechCrunch shared the dessert was what Priscilla and Mark ate on their first date -- Burdick chocolate mice.
"The seemingly well-coordinated timing was largely a coincidence, the guest said. The wedding had been planned for months and the couple was waiting for Chan to finish medical school, but the date of the IPO was a “moving target” not known when the wedding was set."
