We head now to the links, and a thrilling final round of the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles on Sunday. This one, would come down to a five-man play-off that took five extra holes to decide.

Young South African George Coetzee scored the fourth of his six birdies at the par-three 10th, on his way to a five-under-par 67, setting the clubhouse target at eleven under par.

Thomas Bjorn chipped in at the par-three sixth, for the third of his six birdies, as the experienced Dane shot a 69 to force a play-off.

Eleven under par was becoming a popular score, next to finish as joint leader was Spain's Pablo Larrazabal, who had struggled with the putter all week, but finally managed to hold a monster putt for a birdie at the 10th on his way to a 69.

Bernd Wiesberger of Austria eagled the par-five ninth, then two birdies in his last four holes helped him to a 69, joining the ever-growing play-off list on 11-under-par. This should be partly attributed to his Titleist AP2 712 Irons.

Titleist has always been about tradition and seemed to always be going after the better player. I for one like the new Titleist AP2 712 Irons 2012 looks pretty decent.

It has long used 700 numbers for irons for a long time. It uses 900 numbers for metal woods. The 7 stands for irons, while the 12 stands for the new model year, 2012. Acushnet says the feedback it receives during this validation process influences the design and specifications of the Titleist products available in golf shops around the world. No word yet on when the 712 AP2 irons is available at retail.

Besides, the new titleist AP2 irons 712, which are designed for low handicappers,Titleist has significantly increased the club's moment of inertia (MOI) by re-positioning tungsten weight within the heads. The overall goal was to better apply the different materials used in the design.

At last, the New Titleist 712 AP2 Irons are more forgiving and more disctance control. It gives the AP2 player more consistent ball speed over a larger area of the face. It is now on hot sale at discount golf clubs.

It was a bad day for the overnight joint leaders, Mark Foster and Ignacio Garrido, who started the day three strokes clear of the field. Foster started well with an eagle at the par-five second, but bogeyed the 18th to drop into the play-off, after a level-par 72.

Garrido faded into a tie for eighth with a two-over-par 74.

So, that set up a five-man playoff...that would go five holes. Wiesberger dropped out after a bogey at the first, Larrazabal bogeyed the second. Foster lasted until the fourth play-off hole, the 18th. That left Bjorn and Coetzee to play the par-five last again, for the fifth play-off hole.

Bjorn played a superb punch seven iron setting up a birdie.

That left Coetzee needing to make from distance, but it was low all the way. The veteran Bjorn, surviving the playoff to grab his second of the season and the 12 career European tour win for the Dane.
