    Baked Goodies

    • Tantalize your boyfriend's palate with a batch of your signature baked items this Valentine's Day, but with a creative twist. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter or tin, or add marzipan figurines on a plain square or round cake for a creative touch. You can also bake a heart-shaped cake surrounded by tiny cupcakes. Pack the cake in a picnic basket with a blanket, and serve it with a coffee in your local park.

    Couple's Calendar

    • Create a couple's calendar for your boyfriend to display at home or in his office. Print 12 romantic photos of you and your boyfriend together, each measuring 8 by 10 inches. Assemble the calendar by hand or create it on the computer if you have the appropriate program installed on it. Paste each photo on the top or bottom of a plain or colored piece of paper, with a calendar grid on the remaining space directly below or above. Embellish each page with romantic quotes, stickers, glitter or heart-shaped paper cutouts. Punch two holes through the sides of each page and extend decorative ribbon through them. Knot the ribbon in a decorative bow to hold the sheets of paper together.

Draw red hearts to mark important dates such as birthdays or anniversaries. Also select a "date night" every month where you and your boyfriend will dine out, watch a movie together or take turns massaging each other.

    Love Jar

    • Treat your boyfriend to a jar filled with romantic activities that extend far beyond Valentine's Day. Cut narrow strips of scented paper and write a romantic activity on each. Fold each strip and place in a glass jar. The number of strips depends entirely on you; use a strip every night of the week, every other night or once every fortnight. The idea is for the two of you to take time out of your schedules and dedicate it to performing the activity on the strip. For a romantic twist, label the jar something personal and sensual to get your boyfriend in the mood every time he sees it.

    Gift Hamper

    • Give your boyfriend a hamper filled with romantic items the two of you can use together, such as assorted chocolates, specialty bottle of wine, silk boxers and lingerie, bath oils, scented aromatherapy candles, silk bath robes, massage oils, silk bed sheets, a couple's massage kit and other items that bring the two of you closer together.
