On 13th October afternoon, an elderly couple was killed in a car accident in rural Washington State. According to NBC News, Floyd Nordhagen, 92, and Margaret Nordhagen, 88, died holding hands after they pulled out of a store parking lot onto a state highway in front of an oncoming pickup truck.

Their son, Marv Nordhagen, told the station that he thinks his mom probably grabbed his dad's hand when the accident happened.

Floyd Nordhagen, 92, was already dead and his wife, Margaret, 88, died shortly after, said NBC News. Margaret Nordhagen was alive and responsive when medical workers arrived at the scene.
