How to Remove the Search From the Taskbar in Windows XP
- 1). Right-click over the taskbar. A menu will open that has options for accessing the Task Manager and managing your toolbars.
- 2). Hover over "Toolbars." A list of the toolbars available for the taskbar will open.
- 3). Click "Windows Search Deskbar." The search bar will disappear from the taskbar.
