How to Remove Limescale From Concrete
- 1). Fill a bucket with 1 quart of white vinegar and 1 gallon of water. The vinegar works well to dissolve the limescale buildup, and diluting it with this amount of water keeps it safe for use on the concrete without causing deterioration.
- 2). Swish a nylon scrub brush in the water and scrub over the concrete surface to remove the scale. For large areas of concrete you can also use a large broom to brush the vinegar mixture into the concrete surface. Continue scrubbing or sweeping and refill the bucket with fresh vinegar and water solution as needed.
- 3). Rinse outdoor surfaces with your garden hose or wipe down interior surfaces with a mop to collect the excess cleaning solution.
- 4). Let the surfaces air dry.
