How to Install Office 2007 on Debian
- 1). Download and install WINE using the following command:
# apt-get install wine wine-bin wine-utils winetricks cabextract - 2). Configure WINE and run the "winetricks" script with the following series of commands:
# winecfg
# chmod +x winetricks
# ./winetricks msxml3 - 3). Insert your Office 2007 installation CD and mount it with the following command:
# mount -t iso9660 -o unhide /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom - 4). Install Office 2007 from the CD with the following command:
#wine /media/cdrom/setup.exe
