How to Make a Child's Handprint on a Mug
- 1). Ask your child to was his hands to get rid of any excess dirt.
- 2). Rub the glazed mug with a rubbing alcohol-soaked, cotton ball to get rid of any dirt. Let the mug dry.
- 3). Shake the paint you would like to use and pour it onto a paper plate.
- 4). Guide your child's hand onto the paint and help her cover the palm of her hand with the paint.
- 5). Help your child's hand onto the mug. Lightly press on all his fingers to get a good impression, without moving his hand.
- 6). Ask the child to remove her hand straight off the mug. Help guide her hand off the mug to not mess it up.
- 7). Help him wash his hands to get rid of the the paint completely from his hands.
