A Review Of AlphaBrain, and ShroomTech,
It seems that everyday a new supplement is introduced into the market that claims instant results just by adding water. In addition to claims too good to be true, add on top of that synthetic ingredients that have left some in the hospital. While I won't tell you that this is the miracle supplement, I will have to admit I think I found my new training and daily supps.

Background

About a year ago this month, I began my journey to regain mental and physical dominance, after being introduced to the world of crossfit. I immediately started looking for was to improve my physical state with the help of supplements from protein shakes to vitamins and all the other pointless items the fitness industry tries to get people to buy. Only coming to the quick realization that there is nothing that can beat having a good healthy diet {insert praise of paleo diet here}. I reduced my essentials of using countless vitamins and powders every two hours to just using pre workouts and protein around the times I was going to go train. But I was still left with the constant feeling of wanting to minimize my approach to tackling the day let alone my training. As one begins to remove things from life, you quickly begin to realize that you were lacking in other areas. Quickly coffee became my go-to drug of choice to help awake my sleeping and often forgetful cerebral cortex. I also quickly began justify my overuse with the fact that it's natural. This growing problem also didn't help my growing bouts with mental fog or lack of restful sleep. And that's where Onnit,, comes in!
Onnit,, was founded by Aubrey Marcus, on the principles of developing fitness products that were both natural and effect,or as Marcus likes to call it, a movement in Total Human Optimization; improving mind, body and spirit. You can check out more of their products here. Listening to a lot of his interviews on various podcasts and hearing about others experience I knew it was something that I wanted to try.

Initial Review

Initially I had planned on using 1 serving of Alphabrain and ShroomTech in the morning to start my day and also prior to heading out to my training session, but being pretty stocked on receiving the package I decided to try it out before I went to sleep to experience the lucid dreaming effect. If you are unfamiliar lucid dreaming is an effect of better rem sleep cycles. Basically it produces a better sleep experience and a sense of being well rested. Onnit recommends taking 1-2 capsules in the morning and afternoon, or 4-5 hours prior to sleep. I took the AlphaBrain at about 9 p.m. and then another capsule at about 10 after no experiencing any profound moments of mental clarity or mental advantage. I then went to bed at about 12:30, and still hadn't experienced any profound moments at least until the next day that is.
The next morning I woke up fairly well rested, while I was unable to recall my dream I had no problem getting up to hit my snooze button and stay awake. I had my training session at 8 and was able to wake up at 7 no problem, and really wasn't able to go back to sleep. So I continued to get ready and at 7:40 I took two capsules of ShroomTech,, Sport rather than taking a pre work out or eating, as Onnit recommends taking it on an empty stomach.

I arrived at my training session running on two capsules of ShroomTech and an 8 oz coffee, which honestly I didn't need but grabbed just incase I wash't going to "feel" anything. But it was at this point that I actually felt the effects of the ShroomTech and Alphabrain combined. During the workout I felt no lag in putting in work or tiredness from not eating or not having a preworkout, in addition I felt way more focused and aware of myself/body in what I was doing. A lot of times I also experience mental fog during and after working out possibly due to heave exertion and or lack of hydration. But either way, there was no mental fog either. In fact I felt better than any other time I had taken a pre workout. After my normal wow (workout of the day) I usually put in a good half hour to an hour of heavy lifting which is currently comprised of a squat variation along with olympic lifting (clean and jerk, snatch, deadlift, etc.) and after 40 minutes of these I felt no fatigue, no tiredness, nothing.

Conclusion

So after only 12-18 hours of using AlphaBrain and ShroomTech, I can honestly say that I would recommend at least trying out the supplements offered by Onnit,,. As always,one must keep in mind when trying products, that everyone's body reacts differently to different stimuli. Where for me it took over 12 hours to really feel and experience the effects, someone else might feel the effects almost immediately, some may not experience anything at all. So while I hope this may help you in determining this product is for you, I do hope that you take the time to try it for yourself. If you plan on creating a better stronger version of yourself, I would highly recommend adding the Onnit,, line of supplements to your list of methods to try. I plan on updating this log of sorts so that others can use this as a testimonial of sorts in regards to whether or not Onnit,, is legit or not.
