How to Unzip a DDL File
- 1). Left-click on the file you want to unzip. If you are using Windows XP or Vista, you will see an "unzip" command in the sub-menu. Click this to launch the unzip tutorial. If you do not see this option in the sub-menu, then you will need to download an unzip program (see Resources).
- 2). Go through the unzip tutorial. You will need to select a place to extract the files to. If you are extracting just one file, the easiest place to do this is the desktop (for easy access). If you are unzipping more than one DLL file, it is best to create a new folder and then extract the files to there.
- 3). Press the "unzip" or "extract" button on the wizard. A status window will pop up, letting you know about how much time will pass until the files are completely unzipped. Once the status window disappears, the files have been extracted to your specified location.
