There were dangers at every corner.

But imagine back in those days and consider how hard it would be to relax some place private with your girlfriend and make love all night? And don't forget that the mortality rate for babies was much higher than it is today.
In order for the human race to survive, certain things were naturally implemented to ensure that we could reproduce effectively and maintain our race.
One of those things was to make sex pleasurable.
Since pleasure is basically a reward for having sex, this encouraged people to enjoy themselves together.
That's common sense, really.
But there were also underlying reasons that a woman would want to choose a man who was not only physically strong, but who would be able to easily impregnate her and have children.
So a few things come into play: Scientific studies prove that women are more attracted to men with a higher and healthier sperm count.
They don't know how women know this (without even measuring his seminal output), but they do.
The reason for this is that the more sperm a man ejaculates, and the healthier those sperm are, increases his chance of being able to fertilize her.
Not only that, but if a woman has sex with more than one partner in a short period of time, the sperm from each man will actually fight and kill each other in the vagina.
So the man with the highest number and the strongest number of sperm will typically win this battle.
Regarding the penis size, this is very important, too.
When sperm is deposited deep in the vagina, they have a better chance of reaching the egg and fertilizing it.
Yes, sperm swim can swim all the way from the entrance of the vagina to fertilize an egg (there are some cases when women got pregnant from a swimming pool that had sperm floating in it), but if the sperm can start off in the vaginal depths, they have a better chance of fertilization.
What this means is that, biologically speaking, a woman will be attracted more to a man with a large penis because she innately knows he will have a better chance of impregnating her.
It's a natural part of the human species and something we would like to, but cannot, deny.
