Begin in a right ready stance. Place your right foot in front, angled about 45 degrees to the inside. The left foot is about 18 inches behind the right and points at a slightly more forward angle than the front foot. Elevate the back heel a couple inches and align it with the big toe on your front foot. Square your hips to the side with arms held in a defensive position and fists just below the chin. Angle your shoulders slightly forward.

Circle slightly to the right, away from your opponent’s kicking leg. Grab his leg under your left arm, keeping your right arm in a ready position.

Turn your body to the side, holding your opponent’s leg across the front of your body with your left hand grasping the ankle. Hook your opponent’s standing leg with your right leg and trip her into a fall, maintaining your hold on her kicking leg.

Squat down and drop onto your buttocks. Wrap your legs around your opponent’s leg, holding his ankle with both of your hands and tucking his foot under your arm. Lock your ankles around his thigh if possible.

Apply pressure against the knee with your legs, arching your back. This causes excruciating pain to your opponent’s leg.
