Changes in Home Care Accreditation
The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) recently announced two changes affecting home care pharmacies, long-term-care pharmacies, and ambulatory care infusion centers that have engendered considerable discussion among pharmacists. I will discuss the impact of these changes on pharmacists practicing in these settings.
