Hey there. This is Crystal and this is how to embed PowerPoint slides, the text into a Word document. Now yes, of course you can copy and paste but what if there's a lot of text in there? I'll show you how to do it, a great way to do it. So first of all, always a good practice, have PowerPoint open and Word open. This way there's an easy transition. Here's my PowerPoint. I don't necessarily want this slide. Here's my second slide and here's some pictures. This might be a 40 slide presentation so copying will become problematic. So let's go to the file tab and now let's go to save and send. It's kind of counter-intuitive. So here's save and send. If I say I'm actually say I'm going to create handouts, handouts will not include any of the pictures. So I'm just going to create handouts and here is create handouts in Microsoft Word. Kind of nice. So once I click there I get all of these options. So I don't want the notes, I don't want the blank lines. I just want, you see where it says outline only, I only want the text. I don't want the pictures, I don't want the background in Word. So once I click here, outline only. I can click OK. And again for an easier transition, it's better have Word open and PowerPoint open because this way there you go. Here is the file with all of the text in it. I can change the formatting, change the size if I want to but it has all the text in there accurately. Pretty quick, huh? So that's how to embed a PowerPoint slide, just the text in Microsoft Word. This is Crystal, see ya soon.
