How to Clean Grease Stains off of Granite
- 1). Pour 1 cup of flour into a bowl and add 2 tbsp. of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide.
- 2). Add enough distilled water to the flour and hydrogen peroxide while stirring to form a thick paste.
- 3). Apply the paste to the stain making sure to cover it so that none of the stain is showing.
- 4). Cover the paste with a piece of plastic wrap.
- 5). Seal the edges of the plastic wrap with tape.
- 6). Allow the paste to remain on the stain overnight.
- 7). Remove the plastic wrap and gently scrape away the paste with a plastic utensil.
- 8). Dampen a soft clean cloth with distilled water. Gently wipe the area to remove any residual bits of paste.
- 9). Dry the area with a soft clean dry towel.
