Dreading Going to Work Because Your Boss Blows
Do you hate Mondays? Or actually do you find yourself actually hating everyday now because your boss has turned out to be a jerk? A lot of people find themselves in this situation. Relax we all have experienced the "boss from hell" and there are steps you can take to improve the situation. Heck there are even books written on the subject. In this little article, I am going to cover a few things you can do right off the bat to perhaps better your situation, let's get to it!
Jerky Boss Does Not Equal Bad Employee
Firsts things first though, having a jerk for a boss doesn't give you a right to be an a-hole either. You should always strive to do your best at whatever you do regardless of the situation. Take some pride in your work. It represents you, not your boss.
Tips to Making Friends with Your Boss
If your boss makes ignorant comments, bad jokes, and what not, don't take them personal. Shrug them off since he probably makes them to everyone.
Try to see if he/she the boss actually gets along with anyone. If they do, find out how those people are actually getting along with him/her. See what you're doing wrong and adjust accordingly.
When everything you have tried has failed and everything has been exhausted, set a meeting. You don't really want to walk in the boss's office yelling unannounced, although you really might want to.
But if they're not going come around to your way of thinking, keep your notes for perhaps later legal action. One thing you want to try to do is to maintain you're cool and at least try to walk away with a good recommendation.

- * Bring your notes.
- * You want to be specific. Specific on when, how, who, what etc, these will help you get to the crux of the matter.
- * Don't be combative; this never ever gets anything accomplished.
- * Be sure to listen to his/her side of the story. This jerk might have a good reason for their behavior who knows.
