Does it seem as though when you turn your computer on it has a mind of its own? Does it seem to run extremely slow and freeze up just because? Well it does not mean that you have to purchase a new computer and there are some things that you can do to speed it up.

Yes it can be frustrating when you are trying to log on and your computer completely freezes up.
I have had that happen to me before and at first I had no idea why it did that; until a friend of mine explained some reasons why it did.

Insufficient Memory: Most people think that this is a thing of the past; however this could be the very reason that you are experiencing the error problems and the freezing up of the computer.
You may want to increase your computers memory and that alone may be able to bring your computer back to functioning the way you want it to.

Viruses: We spend a lot of time on the internet and there are many viruses and worms that can infect your PC; you may want to check and see if yours has been infected.
Hopefully you have a good antivirus application that is updated on a regular basis.
If so then this should take care most of them before they infect your PC.
However one thing to remember is never to open up emails that you receive if you do not know who sent them to you; this believe it or not is how many people's computer becomes infected by viruses.
If your PC does catch a virus; it is important to take care of it at once.
It is extremely dangerous and will slow down your computer, even it it is not completely malicious it can cause your computer to malfunction.
Anytime you are online ensure that you do not do anything to pick up viruses; it can be avoided if you stay out of sites that you are unfamiliar with and proceed with caution when you attempt to open up emails that you are unfamiliar with.
