Nokia Going Nuts
Nokia has learnt this from Apple so the culprit is Apple as with this rumor techniques where companies prefer to start rumors before launching a new product.
We all are reading it since last few days that Nokia is going to enter the netbook market which will be called the C something series and now this X series is making us all crazy.
Nokia is apparently set to launch its X series of phones after it ran out of N and E series ideas.
All these rumors started the day Nokia filed a trademark application with the Finnish Patents and Trademarks office for the term C series and X series, indicating that there could be a new line of phones coming to complement the already existing E and N series of phones.
Nokia currently sells its premium phones under two different categories.
The multimedia capable phones are sold under the N series and business essential phones are sold under the E series but now its seems Nokia is planning a new X series phones which will apparently run on Android.
So far, no one has clear information on either of the series but hopefully, some words will come out at the Nokia World 2009 event, which is supposed to be held in September.
Now it seems the intriguing-sounding "Xseries" is in the mix, too, thanks to details coughed up by the EU's Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market.
This particular mark was filed in Switzerland, but something tells us they don't just plan on selling some crazy new line of devices in the Alps
