How to Send Faxes With an iPhone App
- 1). Tap the App Store icon on your iPhone's home screen; then tap the Search button.
- 2). Type in "fax," or similar, and press "Search."
- 3). Browse the list of available fax apps. Tap an app to read about its features; tap back to return to the list. When you find an app you like, tap it.
- 4). Tap the button with the price of the app; then tap it again when it turns green. Enter your Apple ID and password to confirm the purchase.
- 5). Tap the app when the progress bar for the download disappears.
- 6). Go to your app's settings, and enter your provider and sender information. Most apps require that you sign up with a third-party fax service provider, such as InterFax or Sipgate, but some, such as RingCentral, provide their own fax service. Your sender settings are your name and fax number.
- 7). Return to the main menu. Tap the button to create a new fax.
- 8). Enter the recipient's name and fax number; then tap the button to add pages. Select a method from the available options for your app, such as using an image from your photo albums, scanning an image, uploading a text document or uploading a PDF. Tap the button again to add more.
- 9). Tap the "Preview" button to see what your fax will look like before you send it. When you are satisfied, tap "Send."
