    • 1). Go to the Cnet website (see Resources). Review the list of FLV to MPEG 1 converters and choose the one you want to use. A few good free ones are Amaze Flash Video Converter 00.1139, Pazera Free FLV to AVI Converter 1.2 and 4Media FLV to MPEG Converter (see Resources).

    • 2). Click the name of the converter you want to download. Click "Download Now." Click "Run." Select a language. Click "OK." Click "Next." Accept the license agreement and click "Next." Choose a destination location on your PC by clicking the "Browse" button. Click "Next." Some converters ask if you want to use a certain default search engine or download various toolbars. Uncheck them (unless you want them). Click "Next." Click "Install." Click "Finish." The converter will download.

    • 3). Click on the "Start" menu located at the lower left of your monitor. Click "All Programs." Click on the converter you downloaded. The program will open.

    • 4). Click "Add Files." Locate the FLV video. Click "Open." Choose "MPEG 1" as the file type to convert it to. Choose a destination folder to save the converted file by clicking the "Browse" bar. Click "Convert." The FLV file converts to the video CD format (MPEG 1).

    • 5). Put a blank, recordable CD into your CD recordable drive. Open your CD burning software program by clicking on the "Start." menu. Click "All Programs." Click on your CD burning software program. Click "Add File" to add the MPEG 1 file that you have converted to the program. Follow the prompts to burn the CD. The drive will eject when complete.

    • 6). Place the Video CD into your computer drive. Your default media player will open and automatically play it. Place the video CD into your DVD player and view the content.
