How to Remove a Ford Bed Liner
- 1). Climb into the bed and use your socket wrench and Torx socket to remove the cargo tie-down brackets from the interior bed walls. There should be two or four, depending on the truck.
- 2). Pull the tie-down brackets off and set them aside.
- 3). Climb out of the bed and move to the front of the bed. From there, lift the front panel of the bed liner off the front wall of the bed and push the front panel backward so it does not slip back over the top of the bed wall.
- 4). Move to the back of the truck and, with the tailgate down, pull the sides of the bed liner toward the center of the bed. Pull the bed liner toward you. With a little coercion, you will be able to take it completely out and set it aside.
- 5). Take the socket wrench and Torx sockets and undo the fasteners holding the tailgate cover to the inside face of the tailgate. Once the cover is off, set it aside and reinstall the Torx fasteners.
- 6). Reinstall the cargo tie-down brackets in reverse of how you removed them in Step 1.
