  Prior to registering your business or obtaining your business license, decide on your business name. Having this information in advance will speed up the registration process.

  After you have registered your business and applied for the appropriate licenses, you will need to purchase a domain name. A domain name is your website address. For instance, if your business name is Acme Tool Company, register a domain name that is exactly the same or very close. Ideally, your domain name will be AcmeToolCompany.com.
  
  
• 5). Choose a domain registration company, such as Go Daddy. You must register your business name with a registrar, such as Go Daddy, before you can move on to the next phase of starting your web business.
