'The Walking Dead' - AMC

Premiere: October 14, 2012

As the season ended, the group were driven from the farm after it was overrun with walkers. Rick revealed to a shocked group that everyone is infected. We were briefly introduced to Michonne, a major character from the comic book series. As the new season begins, the "Ricktatorship" has begun and we'll see Rick take a stronger and more confidant leadership role. The group moves into the prison (another location from the comics). Michonne will play a major role this season and for those who have not yet read the comic books -- I promise you'll love this tough lady! We'll finally meet the Governor, an extremely vicious and sadistic character from the comics who will make everyone's life worse than they ever imagined.More »


'Homeland' - Showtime

After submitting to electric shock therapy as the first season came to a close, Carrie is in a completely different place as the new season begins. It's six months later and Carrie has had some serious therapy and much-needed R & R. Saul will pull her back into the game, but she won't go in easily. Meanwhile, Brody is in a constant state of paranoia and is having a very difficult time dealing with all that is expected of him from both sides of the fence. The citizens of Storybrooke finally remembered who they really are when Emma defeated the dragon (Maleficent) in order to save Henry's life after he ate the poisonous apple turnover Regina made. Rumpelstiltskin pulled a fast one on Emma and stole the true love potion in order to restore magic back into the world. As the new season begins, Rumplestiltskin and Regina (the Evil Queen) will go head to head, new characters such as Sleeping Beauty, Captain Hook and Mulan will arrive and someone from Snow White's past (Sir Lancelot) will cause a rift between her and Prince Charming.More »

We knew it was only a matter of time before someone close to Dexter finally discovered his dirty little secret and sure enough, as the season came to a close, his adoptive sister Deb walked in on Dexter murdering Travis. 'The Vampire Diaries' - The CW

Those who have read the books know that Elena's fate was to become a vampire and that is exactly what happened as the season came to an end. As the new season begins, Elena will have trouble dealing with her new state of being - how will she react when Damon's compulsion wears off? Will she go running for him or stick with Stefan? Klaus will continue to inhabit Tyler's body, but not for long. Bonnie will face some consequences from helping Klaus. Mystic Falls gets a new resident (well, one who used to live there) and she will share a past with Elena and Jeremy.
