How to Put CD Music on the iPod Nano
- 1). Put the music CD into the computer's CD drive.
- 2). Open iTunes.
- 3). Click the CD listed under "Devices" on the left part of iTunes.
- 4). Click on the "Import Settings" button, located at the bottom of iTunes. A window will appear inside iTunes.
- 5). Click the "Import Settings" drop menu that's located at the top of the open window. Then, select any of the listed file formats. All of the listed formats are compatible with the iPod Nano. Once you've made a choice, click "OK."
- 6). Click the "Import CD" button located next to the "Import Settings" button (at the bottom of iTunes). The music CD will be added to iTunes. You can then eject the music CD from the computer.
- 1). Connect the iPod Nano to the computer via the iPod Nano's USB cord.
- 2). Click the iPod Nano name listed under "Devices."
- 3). Click the "Summary" tab listed at the top of the program.
- 4). Click on "Manually manage music and videos" located at the bottom of the middle iTunes window.
- 5). Click the "Apply" button positioned at the bottom of iTunes. You can now manually sync music files onto the iPod Nano.
- 1). Click "Music" found under "Library" inside the left iTunes column. All of the music saved in iTunes will appear in the middle of the program.
- 2). Click all of the songs from the CD that you added.
- 3). Drag the selected CD music over to the iPod Nano listed under "Devices." The music will be added to your iPod Nano.
