Pregnant:

Nursing:


No Known Risk: LOW LEVELS EXCRETED WITH LOW RISK FOR ADVERSE EFFECTS IN INFANT

Precaution: MONITOR FOR CHANGES IN RESPIRATION, GI EFFECTS, SEDATION, FEEDING PATTERN

An adult over 60:


Precaution: (SOM)RISKS:HYPOTENSION/RESP.DEPRESS/URINARY RET./CONFUSION/CONSTIP.

Precaution: (SOM)STRICT ADHERENCE TO MAXIMUM DAILY DOSE (3000MG) ADVISED.

Giving Tylox to a child under 12:


Warning: USE WEIGHT BASED DOSING IN CHILDREN LESS THAN 12 YRS.

Relative Contraindication: MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO EFFECTS AND ADVERSE CNS EFFECTS, RESPIRATORY DEPRESSION.
