How Do I Create Flash Files?
- 1). Run your version of Flash.
- 2). Click on "File" in the main taskbar and select "New." This will create a new, blank Flash project.
- 3). Click on "File" in the main taskbar and select "Save."
- 4). Give your new Flash project file a name in the text field labeled "File Name."
- 5). Select "Flash Project (*.fla)" from the drop-down menu labeled "Save as type" and click "Save." You have now officially created and saved a basic Flash project file.
- 1). Open your .FLA Flash project in Flash Professional.
- 2). Click on "File" in the main taskbar and select "Export" from the drop-down menu.
- 3). Click on "Export Movie." This will cause a window titled "Export Movie" to appear.
- 4). Select "Flash Movie (*.swf)" from the menu labeled "Save as type" and click "Save." Flash Professional will automatically create a compiled SWF version of your FLA file. Unlike your original Flash project, this SWF file can be embedded in a web page and played back by VideoLAN VLC and other major multimedia players.
