Summary:

Ghost Rider
This is the third volume of Ghost Rider and sees Johnny Blaze back as the spirit of vengeance. The story starts us off in hell, where Johnny has been imprisoned. The Ghost Rider tries again and again to escape his fiery prison and comes close each and every time, but Satan always pulls it away at the last second, leaving Johnny Blaze tormented.
When Johnny Blaze is given a chance to escape from a lowly demon he takes it and escapes the clutches of hell.

It turns out, however that this was all a trick and finds out he inadvertantly helps the Devil himself to escape from hell. The devil has shattered into 666 pieces and each piece has reanimated a corpse, wreaking havoc wherever they go. The more he hunts and kills, the stronger the rest get. It's up to the Ghost Rider to stop Satan and send them all back to hell.

Mythos: Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider: Mythos retells the classic story of how Ghost Rider came into being. It is based on the Marvel Spotlight series where we were first introduced to the Ghost Rider character. Some liberties have been taken to update the story and make it more mainstream.

One of the main attractions of this series is the art associated with it. The panels have been painted by artist Paolo Rivera and are wonderfully done. Although they are not in the hyper realistic style of Alex Ross, they make this comic a striking entry into the origins of Ghost Rider.
