TRD's X-Runner Concept has a 4L V6 engine, but the addition of internal performance parts and a newly designed supercharger increase its horsepower from 240 to 400. The truck's 6-speed manual transmission is equipped with a high performance clutch and pressure plate to help manage the engine's extra power.

Improved body-styling aerodynamics are visible in the photo, and continue under the frame. A sport-tuned suspension lowered the truck by 2", helping it handle better on winding roads.
