How to Transfer FrostWire Songs Into an iPod
- 1). Download and install FrostWire and iTunes if they are not already installed.
- 2). Open FrostWire. Open the Preferences menu on the menu bar. Select the "iTunes" tab and select "Importing." Make sure "Enable iTunes Importing" is checked and select "OK" to close the Preferences menu.
- 3). Search for the desired media using FrostWire's search box. Double-click a returned result to begin downloading the file. ITunes-compatible results are designated with a music icon. The time it takes to download the song will depend on your connection and the connection of your peers on the Gnutella network.
- 4). Open iTunes once the download completes. You will see a new playlist labeled "FrostWire" in which FrostWire has automatically added your downloaded files to your iTunes library.
- 5). Connect your iPod to your computer with an iPod cable. Highlight the iPod within iTunes' sidebar and select the "Music" tab. Place a check mark next to the "FrostWire" playlist to sync the playlist with your iPod. Select "Apply/Sync" to begin syncing the newly added files to your device.
- 6). Re-connect your iPod to your computer via supplied cable as you continue to add music to iTunes via FrostWire. Each time you sync your iPod, the newly added songs will automatically transfer to the device.
