    Dynamic Drive

    • Dynamic Drive has a CSS library with free CSS codes and examples. From its layout categories, you can choose two column layouts, three column layouts, fixed or liquid layouts and CSS frames. In addition, Dynamic Drive has CSS coding for other blog elements, including horizontal or vertical menus, images, forms, DIV containers, links and buttons. After you select a layout and click on it, you are taken to a page with the blank coding. Copy the coding and paste into the "Edit Template" section of the "Edit HTML" page under the "Design" tab in Blogger.

    Code Sucks

    • Code Sucks is a second website that offers blank CSS layouts for customizing your Blogger.com blog template. It has 53 fixed-width layouts and 42 faux-column layouts. Click on one of the layout thumbnails to see a larger version of the layout, as well as a link to where you can download the CSS. Code Sucks uses ZIP files, so after downloading, extract the files to see the "main.css" file. Open the file in Notepad or another text program to edit it. Once you finish, copy the coding and paste it into the "Edit Template" page on Blogger.

    Layout Gala

    • Layout Gala has 40 CSS layouts that can be downloaded individually or collectively in ZIP files. Click on any of the layouts to see a larger version of the layout with explanatory text and a link to download the template. After downloading the ZIP file, extract the files to find the "layout.html" file. An HTML file can only be opened with an HTML program, so you must have one installed to see the coding for any Layout Gala layout.

    CSS Creator

    • CSS Creator is different than the other three layout websites, in that it offers a way for you to customize your Blogger CSS layout directly online before downloading the completed template. Choose options from the drop-down menus, radio buttons and color picker, selecting column sizes, background colors, page alignment and header and footer specifications. After customizing, click the "Generate Layout" button and you have the option of downloading your "template.css" file. Go to the "Edit HTML" page under the "Design" tab on Blogger and click the "Upload file" button. Select the "template.css" file and upload it to Blogger.
