    • 1). Move you mouse pointer to the bottom of your screen to make the auto-hide taskbar appear. Alternatively, press the "Windows" key, or press "Ctrl" and "Esc" together. This makes the taskbar appear regardless of its location.

    • 2). Right-click an empty area of the taskbar, and select "Properties."

    • 3). Uncheck "Auto-hide the taskbar" on the "Taskbar" tab, which should be selected by default.

    • 4). Click "OK" to keep the Windows 7 taskbar always in view and on top of other windows.
