How to Fill Out a Circuit Training Card
- 1). Complete the activity at the station. Pull out your circuit training card.
- 2). Record the weight you used at the station. This may not be applicable in the case of pushups or other manual activities. If the circuit involved weights, such as bicep curls, record the amount of weight you used.
- 3). Record your repetitions. Write down how many times you performed the activity at the station. Proceed to the next station and follow the same procedure.
- 4). Finish the entire circuit. Perform the same recording steps at each station to ensure proper recording. Evaluate your workout after the fact. If something posed a light challenge to you, make a note of that. Next time, you will know to increase the weight or the repetitions.
- 5). Consult with a personal trainer if you have the opportunity to do so. He can help you plan a proper fitness regime for your circuit training. If you wish to grow large muscles, you will want to use heavy weight with fewer reps. If you wish to elongate your muscles and slim down, you will want light weights and a large number of reps.
