How to Make a Zombie Nurse Outfit
- 1). Mix 1/2 cup corn syrup, 1 tbsp. red food coloring and 1/4 tsp. yellow food coloring in a small bowl. Dilute the mixture with 1 tbsp. water. Add additional water for a thinner consistency, if desired.
- 2). Spread a plastic drop cloth over a flat surface. Lay a pair of scrubs on the drop cloth.
- 3). Use a 2 inch wide paintbrush to apply the fake blood and make large smears on the scrubs. Pick areas where the blood would accumulate if the "zombie" had attacked someone, such as the collar or chest area.
- 4). Fill an eye dropper or a turkey baster with the blood. Hold the dropper one to two feet above the scrubs and release to create blood drops and splatters.
- 5). Dip the paintbrush in the fake blood. Hold the brush close to the scrubs. Flick the bristles with your finger to create a fine spray of fake blood on the scrubs.
- 6). Paint your palms with fake blood. Smear the blood on the scrubs to create hand-shaped smudges from zombie victims who tried to defend themselves.
- 7). Rub the scrubs on some grass or dirt to create stains, especially on the knees.
- 8). Wear the scrubs with white or black sneakers. Carry a clipboard or stethoscope, if desired.
- 1). Apply liquid foundation one or two times lighter than your skin to your entire face and neck with a wet makeup sponge. Apply the foundation to your lips, and blot them with a tissue. Your lips should look bloodless, but still have more color than your face.
- 2). Apply light gray eyeshadow to your upper and lower eyelids.
- 3). Use dark gray eyeshadow to line your eyes, concentrating the color in the inner corner of your eyes. Use a cotton swab or your finger to blend the light and dark grays together.
- 4). Mix dark gray and dark blue eyeshadow to create smudges or bruises on your face.
- 5). Smear mascara in the palm of your hand and mix with a few drops of water. Create fake tear tracks by soaking a small brush in the water and holding it against the outer corner of your eyes. Press the brush against your skin so the water leaks out and rolls down your face. Allow the tear tracks to dry before finishing your makeup.
- 6). Apply the fake blood to your face, neck and arms with your fingers, the eye dropper or the paintbrush. Keep in mind the location of the large smears you put on the scrubs. If there are large smears on the collar, apply the fake blood to your mouth, chin and neck. If there is blood on the sleeve, there should be blood on your arm.
- 7). Dip your fingers and knuckles into the fake blood. Place a few strands of synthetic hair on top of your knuckles and between your fingers so it will stick to fake blood as it dries.
- 8). Apply fake blood to your hair with the paintbrush. Concentrate the blood at the temples to make it look like you have a head wound.
