Everybody has heard the saying exercising does a body good or 20 minutes a day keeps the fat away.
The fact of the matter is both sayings are right on target.
It helps you stay fit and trim while boosting your energy at the same time.
Exercising not only helps you keep in shape but it can do wonders for your complexion as well.
With regular exercise you give your skin the nutrients it need with fresh blood, oxygen and nutrients.
The increased blood flow produced while working out tends to draw toxins out of the body and improves your vital organs.
A lot of people believe the myth that sweat can trigger acne outbreaks.
Sweating is a good thing for any type of congested skin because it helps to flush out the impurities from the epidermal layer while cleaning out your pores.
Furthermore the more you sweat and exercise the better your chances of correcting the hormonal imbalances that can trigger blemishes.
Don't expect exercising to be an instant cure for your skin because you may still experience breakouts.
They will be fewer and farther apart because you are constantly removing the toxins and circulating the blood.
Exercise also does wonders for the elasticity of your skin because it prevents it from becoming thin thus less resilient.
The older we get the more collagen our bodies lose.
Collagen is what gives our skin that elegant glow.
Without it you look worn out and tired.
If wrinkles concern you, exercise and relaxation plays a huge role in prevention.
When you work out and stretch the skin it actually loosens it.
What this means is the lines on your face will be much less pronounced which helps to contribute to the youthful look we are all trying to achieve.
If you've ever had the desire to add to or change you complexion you should start exercising at least 20 minutes each day.
Exercise will help you feel more alive, give you more energy, and boost your self esteem.
