Accurate Candidiasis Diagnosis and FOS" Effect
Someone asked me how can we sure that we have candidiasis, or simply, what kind of candidiasis diagnosis is accurate.
She wonders if it is just a matter of trying the diet and antifungals and seeing if we feel better.
She did a questionnaire, which indicated she probably has it, though.
Another question from her is if there are side effects caused by natural antifungals and probiotics which are as bad as the prescription drugs.
She supposes die-off symptoms are inevitable, but she needs to be functional at work.
She has already lost a lot of work time/pay due to her IBS symptoms getting worse.
She also wants to know if FOS would help or harm.
I was consulting with a biochemist that specializes in complementary medicine for my candidiasis diagnosis.
My internal medicine doctor was the one suggested me to work with him.
The biochemist arranged for me to have a stool sample tested for candidiasis which I have done.
The biochemist was preparing me for getting rid of the candidiasis by first building up my system and helping me heal some of my digestive problems, so I didn't get wiped out from whatever he gave to me.
He said that he wanted to avoid my liver from getting overloaded.
I was taking probiotics (which helped with the IBS tremendously) plus a special formula that he made which includes glutamine, biotin, immunoglobins, whey, egg protein, etc.
It has given me much more energy, but as I have posted before, I am a bit wary of it.
I was told by the biochemist to discard any probiotics I may have that contain FOS because they don't work.
Also, I read in one of Dr.
Sherry Rogers' books that some people may be sensitive to FOS.
