How to Sync an iPhone to an Iomega NAS

    • 1). Run the iTunes application. Click "File," then hold the mouse over "Library" and click "Organize library." Make sure the box next to "Consolidate library" is not checked, then click "OK."

    • 2). Click "File," then "Add to Library." Navigate to the folder on the Iomega NAS that you want to sync with your iPhone. (In standard Windows installations, the NAS will be in your "Computer" or "My Computer" window. Mac users can see the drive in the left pane of the Finder window.) Click the folder, and then "Choose."

    • 3). Repeat step 3 for every folder you want to sync. Folders with large amounts of music or video will take a while to add to the library.

    • 4). Plug the iPhone into the computer with a USB cord. Create a new playlist on the iPhone with the new songs and/or video if there is not enough storage for the entire library. Click "Sync." Wait for the process to finish before disconnecting the iPhone.
