Movie Maker Slideshow Video

• 1). Go to "Start" and click "Programs," then double click to open Movie Maker. Select "Start a New Project."
  
  
• 2). Click "Import Media" in the pane on the left side of the screen. Select the photos you want to include in the window that opens. To make the process simpler, create a folder specifically for your slideshow pictures before opening Movie Maker.
  
  
• 3). Click "Transitions" in the task pane and drag the transitions you like in between the picture thumbnails. Click "Audio/Music" in the task pane and select an audio track to use as a slideshow soundtrack. Click "Titles and Credits" in the task pane and type in text for the titles and credits of your slideshow.
  
  
• 4). Click "Finish Movie" in the task pane. Choose from the options to save your slideshow to your computer, burn it to a CD, or send it to the Web or to an individual by email.
  
  

iMovie Slideshow Video

• 1). Go to the iMovie icon in your dock and click to open, then click the plus icon to start a slideshow video project.
  
  
• 2). Click the iPhoto tab on the right side of the screen. Drag and drop the pictures from your iPhoto library up to the slideshow timeline.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Transitions" tab and drag the transitions you like in between the picture thumbnails. Click the "iTunes" tab and drag a song up to the timeline to use as a slideshow soundtrack. Click the "Text" tab and drag any template for titles, captions and/or credits over the photos you want, then type in the text.
  
  
• 4). Go to "Share" in the toolbar. Click "Export" to export your slideshow to your computer, or click YouTube to publish your slideshow online.
