Once you have customize the Windows 7 theme of your choice and you are ready to share your creation, follow the steps in this guide to share your theme with family and friends.

1. Right-click the Desktop and click Personalize from the menu that appears.

Note: Unless you are attempting to share a theme that has been customized it is not worth going through this process because the user you are attempting to share the theme with most likely has the same themes you have.

2. Select one of the themes from the list of themes available (preferably the theme you modified) and right-click the selected theme you wish to share.

3. Click Save theme for sharing from the menu that appears.

Note: The theme you are sharing will always remain on your computer, with this process you are simply creating a copy of the selected them and creating a theme pack from it to share with others.

4. When prompted to enter a name for the theme you are sharing, browse to a location on your computer where you wish to save the theme pack and enter the name you wish to use for the theme pack. When you are done click Save.

Note: Theme Packs are a collection of images, settings and other multimedia that allow users to customize Windows with other user's settings.

Note: If the Theme Pack you are creating exceeds 50 megabytes in size you will see the following message:

"This theme includes more than 50 MB of files. Are you sure you want to save it?

Because of the size of the theme , it might be difficult to share."

If you run into this error and have other means of sharing files click Yes to continue, otherwise click No and reduce the number of images and other media elements from the theme in order to reduce its size to a more manageable file size.

Note: If you are using custom sound clips for your cursor actions and theme sounds you may want to reduce the quality or duration of the sound clip to help reduce the overall size of the file generated.

Once you proceed with theme sharing the process to create the theme pack will begin and a status indicator will appear. When complete you will find the theme pack you created in the location you selected.

All you have to do is attach the theme pack file to an email or share it via a memory stick and you are set. The theme you created can now be shared with any Windows 7 user.
