  Vancouver International Airport, the second busiest airport in Canada, has several readily available hotels, with several located within two miles. Almost all of them offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. Vancouver can be reached in about 20 minutes driving time from these hotels, or via the Canada Line Skytrain from the airport.

It's located inside the airport, just an elevator ride up from the International Departures terminal. There are 392 rooms, with floor-to-ceiling views and soundproof windows. There is also a health club and spa, swimming pool, business center, an award-winning restaurant and the Jetside Bar with five flatscreen televisions. Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel

• For those who'd rather see a bit of the city outside of the airport, the Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel is just two miles away, with a complimentary 24 hour airport shuttle service. They also have a fitness and business center and guest rooms provide complimentary wireless Internet access. • An inexpensive hotel option about two miles from the airport in Richmond is the Comfort Inn, with a complimentary shuttle that runs from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Like most of the hotels in the area, they offer fitness and business centers, but they also have a seasonal outdoor pool and their own beer and wine store. Family rooms and suites have a mini-fridge, and business suites have a work desk and two telephones.
