How to Make a Mesh Wreath
- 1). Cut eight approximately 12-inch-long pieces of deco poly mesh. Tie them around a metal or foam wreath form at equal intervals.
- 2). Cut eight equal lengths of decorative ribbon. Tie these around the wreath form in between the deco poly mesh. Cut the ribbon tails; the finished length will depend upon your aesthetic preferences.
- 3). Fluff the deco poly mesh out so that the wreath begins to take shape as a continuous circle.
- 4). Add more deco poly mesh if the wreath seems thin. You can also run a continuous length of deco poly mesh around the wreath form, attaching it to the base at intervals using craft wire or a glue gun. If you use craft wire, wrap the wire around the base and grab the mesh in the circle; twist the wire to secure the mesh. If you use a glue gun, put a drop of hot glue at each point at which you wish to secure the mesh.
- 5). Attach a centerpiece or large ribbon bow to the bottom of the wreath using craft wire or a hot glue gun. Fluff the deco poly mesh pieces out around the centerpiece or bow to hide the connection, so it seems like an organic part of the wreath.
